I'm committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information I collect, how I use and store it, and your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

• Health information, including presenting concerns, mental health history, and session notes

• GP and referral details

• Medicare and health insurance information

• Payment details (processed securely via Zanda)

• Information submitted through website contact forms

I only collect information that's necessary to provide you with quality psychological care.

3. How I Collect Your Information

Information is collected:

• Directly from you via intake forms, contact forms, and during sessions

• From your GP or referring practitioner (with your consent)

• Through Zanda, my practice management and telehealth platform

4. How I Store Your Information

Your clinical records and booking information are stored securely in Zanda, a practice management platform that hosts data in Australia and complies with Australian privacy legislation. Your card details are securely stored in Stripe only.

General enquiry data submitted through the website contact form is stored on the website. No sensitive clinical information is stored on the website.

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

5. Who I Share Your Information With

Your information is kept confidential. I may share relevant information in the following circumstances:

• With your GP or other treating practitioners, where clinically appropriate and as per Medicare compliance requirements, always with your knowledge

• With Medicare, for the purpose of processing rebate claims

• Where required by law, for example, mandatory reporting obligations or a court order

• Where there is an imminent risk of harm to you or another person

I will not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing purposes.

6. Third-Party Tools

This website uses the following third-party tools that may collect non-identifying data:

• Google Analytics — tracks website usage and visitor behaviour

• Google Search Console — monitors website performance in search results

• Email marketing tools — used to send practice updates (you may unsubscribe at any time)

These tools operate under their own privacy policies. No sensitive health information is shared with these platforms.

7. How Long I Keep Your Records

In line with AHPRA guidelines and Australian legal requirements, client records are retained for a minimum of 7 years after your last session. For clients who were minors at the time of treatment, records are kept until they turn 25, or for 7 years after the last session, whichever is longer.

Records are stored securely in Zanda and disposed of appropriately at the end of the retention period.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information I hold about you

• Ask me to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date

• Make a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached
