Whether you are self-referring or coming through your GP, there might be options for you to manage the cost of your sessions.
Most clients choose to discuss a referral with their GP under this scheme. If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates of $145.25 per session for up to 10 treatment sessions per calendar year.
You may be able to claim ancillary benefits through your private health insurer. Please check with your provider to see what your specific policy covers.
Please note, private health insurance cannot be used the cover the 'gap' (out-of-pocket costs) for services that are already being subsided by Medicare.
I use Zanda, a secure online platform, to manage all billing and rebates. Once you’ve securely provided your Medicare and card details, we can process your payments and rebates automatically, making the process seamless and stress-free.

A standard 50-minute session is $255.00, a 75-minute EMDR session is $330.00. The need and rationale for an extended session will always be discussed with you prior to booking. Payments are managed securely through Zanda. I do require your debit or credit card details on file, with a deposit taken for the first session only.
Absolutely. Research shows that Telehealth is just as effective for most mental health presentations. It allows you to receive high-quality clinical support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, or meeting place of your choice. This flexibility promotes and sustains continuity of care as a telehealth service can be more easily adapted to one's changing circumstances and needs.
For EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) via Telehealth, I recommend using a larger screen, such as a laptop or desktop computer, rather than a phone to ensure effective delivery of the intervention.
I understand that life happens, however, I do have a 48-hour non-attendance policy. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule; otherwise a late cancellation fee of $150.00 will be charged. Cancellations within 3 hours of the scheduled service and non-attendance will incur the full session fee of $255.00. Read Terms & Conditions
No, you can self-refer at any time. However, to claim the Medicare rebate, you will need a formal referral from your GP prior to our first session.
