About

Ann's Story

Hi and welcome! I was born and raised in Belgium, and from a young age I felt intuitively drawn to Australia. After completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2005, I made the journey across and settled in Western Australia. Over the years, I've been blessed to call the Goldfields, the Kimberley, and now the beautiful South West my home.

I've had the privilege of working with people of all ages from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds, across a wide range of settings. My approach is eclectic, collaborative, inclusive, and tailored to each person's unique needs. I'm passionate about supporting your mental health through a holistic lens, guided by curiosity, awareness, and compassion.

Telehealth psychology sessions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only see clients in the South West of WA?

While I'm based in Bunbury, I see clients via Telehealth from all across Australia, including regional and remote areas. Whether you are in the city, the outback or in between, convenient and effective psychological support is available to you.

Can I use my private health insurance?

You may be able to claim ancillary benefits through your private health insurer. It's worth checking your policy to see what's covered.

What's the difference between a psychologist and a counsellor?

Psychologists in Australia are university-trained and registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. Psychologists are qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions using evidence-based therapies. As a Clinical Psychologist, I have specialist endorsement in the field.

How long does therapy usually take?

That really depends on you and what you're working through. Some people find a handful of sessions gives them the tools they need. Others prefer ongoing support over a longer period. We'll work out what feels right together.
